Perch fishing in Lake Erie is best starting in late summer through the fall. As waters cool in late summer and fall, yellow perch generally form schools, move inshore and are caught fairly easily. Perch charters start as early as late July but bigger fish are caught in deeper water in Sept. and Oct. Chelsea Charters will always burn the extra fuel to ensure your fishing trip is as successful as possible.
