Captain Eli is the full time captain of the Chelsea IV. We are beyond grateful to have him on our team. When you book with Chelsea you can guarantee to see him at the dock ready to put you on some Lake Erie Walleye! Eli has been a Captain for over 5 years but grew up on Lake Erie first mating on a boat from a young age. You can bet Eli will do his best to teach how to troll or cast. He will make sure you have the best time possible fishing with us.
Captain Thad is the full time captain of the Miss Chelsea. Thad has been a huge asset to the Chelsea Charters family. He has been fishing Lake Erie since he was 10 years old. Thad spent his early summers working on head boats and first mating on various charter boats before becoming a licensed captain. Thad spends all his spare time fishing from the fresh water lake Erie to the salt water Florida Keys. His excitement from catching the first fish to the last is contagious and will be sure to keep you entertained all day.
Captain Josh is the Co-Owner of Chelsea Charters. Chances are you talked to him to book your trip. While keeping his full time conductor job at the railroad he manages to always find time to fish and hunt. Josh grew up on Lake Erie where he gained his passion for fishing and wants to pass that experience on to our customers to make sure they have the best time possible on your lake Erie fishing trip.
Captain Wes is the Co-Owner of Chelsea Charters and runs full time for Chelsea Charters sister company Snipes Sport Fishing. We are all one big family! Wes has many rolls other than being a husband, father and grandfather. If he is not fishing he is Wes the concrete guy and playing the drums for the band Bar Code. Wes works hard at putting you on the fish, and he will teach you the basics and so much more to help you on your journey.

Deposit Required: A $200. per trip, per day deposit is required to reserve fishing trip dates. Due within ten days of booking. Deposits are refunded or trips rebooked if trip is cancelled due to poor weather conditions, based on captains judgment. If you cancel, notice must be received 30 days prior to fishing date or deposit is forfeited. 3.5% Convenience Fee will be applied to all credit card transactions.
